History of Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese word that means universal life energy

Today, it is used to identify the Natural Harmonization System discovered by Mikao Usui.
He was a Buddhist monk who rediscovered an ancient healing technique that had existed long ago but had been forgotten over time during a spiritual retreat of 21 days of fasting on Mount Kuramayama in the mid-19th century.
It is said that he was granted all the ancestral wisdom of this system and the symbols now known as Reiki during that retreat.
REI means "universal" in Japanese and refers to the spiritual part, the cosmic energetic essence that underlies all things and surrounds all places (the energy that surrounds us everywhere).
KI is the individual life energy that surrounds our bodies, keeping us alive, and it is present and flows through all living organisms, including humans, plants, animals, and even stones..
When the energy of KI leaves a body, that body ceases to have life.

Benefits and Advantages

Reiki is based on the transmission of energy through the hands or other methods, depending on the practitioner's level, to channel universal life energy to a recipient, who can be themselves or someone else, to alleviate or eliminate discomfort or illnesses.
There are many benefits, but I would highlight that it provides well-being to the body and strengthens the immune and nervous systems.
Reiki is a method of harmonization that addresses the root of physical and emotional problems.
It helps you learn to manage situations that may cause stress, discomfort, or unease in any everyday situation.

The Reiki method is based on the Hindu belief in the proper flow of universal life energy through the different chakras, which are responsible for ensuring the body's good health.
According to this belief, the malfunction or blockage of energy in one or more chakras is what causes or worsens poor health, leading to illnesses and disorders.
Reiki cannot replace any medical treatment. It is used as a complementary therapy in many conventional medical treatments.
In my opinion, the essence of Reiki is that, beyond being a therapy, it is a spiritual path. Master Usui imparted Emperor Meiji's principles to his students and established them as a way of life for every Reiki practitioner.
The secret method to invite blessings into your life or the spiritual medicine for many illnesses.
